Hello everyone! I truly hope all of you are faring well during unprecedented times. Before I touch on what Acme is doing regarding Covid-19/Coronavirus, I wanted to share some good and exciting news.
In The Olympian’s Best of South Sound contest, we won for the category “Best Fuel Company!” This is the first year for this category, so we are very thankful for the award and thank you to all who voted for us. We always strive to provide the best service at fair prices. Thank you for your business!
By the time you are reading this, our Lilly Rd site should be under construction. We have been told it should take 6 weeks (from March 23rd), so adding time for unknown issues, hopefully open by mid-May. Again, it will have 3 grades of regular 10% ethanol gas, 3 grades of non-ethanol gas, diesel, off road diesel, and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). The pumps will be all brand new exactly like the ones at our downtown site.
During closure, we encourage you to use our downtown site at 303 Thurston Ave NE or you can download the CFN app and find other stations nearby where our card works.
Now onto the big news that has been impacting everyone…Coronavirus. In order to do our part to limit social interactions, we have closed our office (just coming inside) to the public. We are still filling propane tanks outside and of course we are still delivering fuel; we have online payment, payment over the phone, or you can drop a payment through our mail slot in back. We have had to modify some of our other procedures, but overall things are pretty normal. WE ARE CONSIDERED AN ESSENTIAL BUSINESS, SO WE ARE AND WILL CONTINUE TO REMAIN OPEN TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR FUEL NEEDS.
At our Fast Fuel stations, we are sanitizing the card readers and pump handles every day. Plus, we have always had gas mitts (disposable gloves) for you to use to keep your hands from touching surfaces.
Another item I wanted to throw out there…if during this time you find yourself out of work and/or struggling to pay your bill, give us a call and we will work with you. We also partner with some local organizations who may be able to help as well.
Finally, as I mentioned in previous newsletters, we are implementing a new computer system that will integrate both our home delivery and our gas station billing. So, starting in mid-May (hopefully), you will start seeing a different look to your invoices. The new system will likely add more options and features that we didn’t have before. If you want to have your bills between Fast Fuel and propane/oil delivery consolidated, let us know. Otherwise it will remain separate. We’ll keep you updated as things come along.
Take care. Stay healthy and safe!
